Adding links to posts

  I tried adding links to my latest post (weave of the week #12) according to the FAQ instructions but the published version has all the code visible. What am I doing wrong? TIA

  Hmm – that looks really strange as if the code isn’t being interpreted.

  You should be able to highlight the text you want linked, click on the link icon, fill in the address and save it.

  I didn’t highlight the text etc b/c that isn’t what “How to Write Links” says to do. It occurred to me to do that but, like I said … so I’ll try that now and if it doesn’t work, screw it. Thanks.

  Are you working in the html editor or the visual editor? If you’ve put html code into the visual editor, then it will display it as code, rather than convert it to a link. Put the code into the html editor, or use the link icon in the visual editor.

  I was working in the visual editor so went back to FAQ and watched the video that I had not watched before and think that I understand it now so I will try again. Thanks for your help.
