Adding links with Thumbnail preview picture

So i am pretty new to this, but i have a started a blog http://thevividintellect.wordpress.com/ and i am trying to copy and paste websites pages as posts… for example if i see a cool article i copy the link on top of the page and put it in, and i have figured out how to make the link active so people can click on it but how can i have a little picture pop up from the website on top of it…. kinda how they do on Facebook if i copy and paste a link there is like a preview picture?

Are you clear on what constitutes content theft? If you aren’t then you could run into a copyright issue. Do you have permission to copy and paste entire pages from the other blog’s owners or not?

wow no i wasn’t aware of this ( I’m new too blogging) but i have a question is it considered content theft if I’m taking an article out of a website like ESPN?

You’re welcome and please accept some more advice. Copyright is automatically vested in the creators of intellectual property. Registration is not required and copyright notices are not required. Unless you have prior permission from a copyright holder don’t post their stuff on your blog because if you do then you will not only breach their copyright but you will also breach the Terms of Service here.
