Adding logo to Site Title
-
I would like to add our logo right next to the site title on our page. I do not want to increase the distance in the header, just add a small logo next to our name.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @scotuscc, in Academica, we can add the logo with CSS. I took a look in your media library and found what I’m sure is your logo and used that in the code below. Give it a try and see what you think.
#logo { background-image: url('https://scotuscc.files.wordpress.com/2016/11/cropped-df4b1070ba7180084a5afc7c949c309f.jpeg'); background-size: contain; background-repeat: no-repeat; padding-left: 80px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 5px; } -
Hi @ xxxeeeblog, since you are using a different theme, and since CSS is generally theme specific, can I ask you to create a new thread in the CSS Forum? Many thanks in advance.

That is perfect! Thank you!
One more quick question: I can see the white background on our logo. I have one with a transparent background. Will WordPress accept tif files? -
Will WordPress accept tif files?
No, we only allow compressed image file types. I would suggest saving the TIF as a transparent PNG instead.
