adding logo to title

  Hi! I am using the Dusk to Dawn theme, and would like to add a logo image to the left of the header text at the very top (blog title and tagline). Is there a way to do this? I would happily pay the designer of the theme to change the HTML or CSS.
  When I tried Appearance> Add custom header image, it stuck the image below the site title, in the text box area.
