Adding many images to my archive blog

    I operate two archive/history blogs, and I need to add about 200 images that can be easily searched by the user.

    In other words, I need to illustrate all aircraft labelled with the camera icon in the above page. I’ve been thinking about how to do this for some time now, and in the new year I expect to start. What is the best/easiest/most efficient way?

    Possibilities:
    1) a grid with thumbnails connected to a larger image, as a separate page
    2) posting them to flickr and then linking to them
    3) other ideas
    What have others at WordPress done?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    I have been researching this, and now I don’t need any help. I guess flickr is now out, so I am going to go with a WP plugin called Envira Gallery. This should work well for me. So, no need to answer this post.
