Adding many sub/child pages – WordPress.com suitable?
-
Hi,
I’m really new to WordPress.com (not .org), I set up a test version of my site today after a couple of days research etc.
You can access it here: https://subterreinams.wordpress.com/
My question:
I want to add sub/child pages. I understand that you can do this via the menu function on your dashboard.
However I only seem to see parent pages with four or five child pages and nested drop down boxes.
I’m thinking of adding a podcast series to my blog [under – sounds], this could feasibly reach tens if not hundreds of child pages. I would also like to add reviews of bars & clubs in my city, with each bar/club having its own child page [ under – spaces]. Again this could run into many pages.
Ideally I do not want posts to scroll on a single page, I want each post to have its own page with text and an image or two.
Is WordPress.com a suitable platform for my blog, or should I be looking at WordPress.org to create a fully functional website?
I will also want to add my own custom fonts from DaFont and change the colour of my text etc. to match our earier marketing etc.
Any insights into my question would be gratefully received. If you need further information before you can help me to find an answer please let me know.
Kind regards
Sam
