Adding media

I have a blog on WordPress (https://jindrichvacek.wordpress.com/) and a kind of website (https://enricu.wordpress.com/). I always used to add pictures to my posts and pages and when I clicked on the pictures, they appeared as a separate file on a new page (I think you can understand my idea) and in greater dimensions. Well, as to https://jindrichvacek.wordpress.com/ nothing has changed, but on https://enricu.wordpress.com/ the separated file doesn’t appear. E.g. the following snaps of my books:
On my blog: https://jindrichvacek.wordpress.com/2015/11/28/jindrich-vacek-zivotni-vzpominky-na-radiu-vltava/ – the original file appears,while on my website: https://enricu.wordpress.com/ucebnice/ the original files don’t appear. As to older pictures on my website (e.g. here: https://enricu.wordpress.com/webova-kavarna/kurs-serbskeje-rece-kurz-luzicke-srbstiny/kurs-serskeje-rece-blun/ ) the original files do appear. Where do I make a mistake, please? Thank you.

At the link you gave here the picture does load full-size when I click it, so it looks like you might have figured it out.
When you insert an image, there is an option for attachment settings. It sounds like yours might have been set to None. If you want the image to be clickable, you can either set it to Media File, which will open the image in its own window, or Attachment page, which opens the image in its own page on your site.
If you’re using the new editor, you’ll have to do this before inserting the image by clicking the Edit button when you select an image to insert. To change it for existing images, you will need to edit your post in the WP-Admin editor. Click on the image, and click on the pencil icon, and then change the attachment settings.

Hi, thank you very much. My troubles concern only the website (enricu.wordpress.com) now.
The problem is I do everything as you write, but there are pages I don’t manage to edit images on (even in WP-Admin editor it doesn’t work). I have found a simple solution: I edit the image in my SANDBOX (Draft) and then I copy it on the page where I want to publish it. But I still don’t understand why on the same website there are pages where I menage to edit the image and other ones where I don’t manage to do it.

Can you give me a link to a page that you’re not able to edit? Or the title of the page. Then I can check if I have the same problem.

All my pages are all right now (I have copied the images from my Sandbox). If I shall have a problem again, I shall write a new message here. For the moment thank you very much!
