Adding media!?

I’m finding that with the new ‘upgrade’ I can’t insert media into my blog posts WHERE I want it to go. Any and all media goes straight to the top of the blog post…so all pictures will end up at the top. No more choosing? Makes no sense. It won’t even allow me to drag it to another spot.

What do you mean? You’ll only see my page. I’m making the point that there’s a button for “insert media” but when you try to put media into your post, it doesn’t go where your cursor is, but adds it to the top of the blog post. Before you could add media/photos where you needed them to be (like near a specific block of text) but now it just goes to the top.

If you are looking for a way to add media and text surrounding it, you can do so by following the below steps:
- If you wish to align an image within a paragraph you will first need to insert the image just above the target paragraph block.
- From there, click on the image and select left or right alignment, this will merge the image into the paragraph block.
- Finally, resize the image to your desired width and height.
