  Hi,

  I would like to know how to add a slide show created in power point to my wordpress website. If the power point slides will not work with wordpress what are my options?

  Also, when I attach a word document to my website and have my visitors click on the document which I added via Media option it does not open the document right way it brings up another screen where the user is given options to save the document, view it etc. I want the document to open on the click. What am I doing wrong.

  The accepted file types are found here http://en.support.wordpress.com/accepted-filetypes/ and include:
  .doc, .docx (Microsoft Word Document)
  .ppt, .pptx, .pps, .ppsx (Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation)

  If you want to embed the document itself into a post, then you will have to use a third party application like Scribd or Google Docs.

  Thanks, I already have the document in my page. The problem I am having is when I preview my website and click on the document I see a screen that says what do you want to do with the document Open, Save, Save As. I do not want to see this. When a user clicks on my document it should just open. How do I fix that?

  I do not want to embed the document. I have created a link so when you click it the document should open in Word.

  See my website caughtmyeyesite.wordpress.com. Click on Events menu option. Then click on Book Signing and you will see what I am talking about.

  I want to add a power point slide on my page. I know how to add it to my page. But, when I click on the power point document I added it does not display my slide show.

  Please help.
