Adding Media and getting multiple images of the same image

  Hi, Noobie here, so bare with me. I’m creating a photo blog and wanted to add an image to a post. Ok? Good. I was able to do that successfully but I can;t figure out why I have 3 of the same images added to my home page and only one to the about page. What I want is to add images to what I post and have people comment as they see fit. What did I do wrong? Thanks for the help.
