Adding Media doesn’t work in Opera 10.00 build 1750

I recently launched a WP blog and I’m familiarizing myself with all the features. So far so good…except for the fact that I can’t insert media files (images, video, and audio files to be specific) into my posts. Here’s what happens…

I bring up the insert media utility while compiling a new post, I can select files in my media library no problem, but when I click “insert in post” the utility window goes white and does nothing. I’ve tried letting it sit for a while but nothing happens. When I close the utility window there’s no change to my post. I pulled up my error console and got this error message (jpeg screenshot): http://jcslone.wordpress.com/files/2009/09/wordpressimageuploaderror.jpg

I’ve tried it in Firefox 3.5.3 and it works, but I’d like to be able to work WP in Opera if at all possible. I’ve referenced this thread: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/add-media-doesnt-work-in-opera?replies=17#post-184136 and tried updating Flash as recommended but that had no effect.

Is there any fix for this or am I stuck using Firefox?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Opera has always had issues when it comes to wordpress and the main problem problem area has always centered around the post/page editor. Since Opera 10 was just recently released, it might take a while for WordPress to catch up to it. They never even start trying to fix compatibility issues with a browser until it is in final release form. It is like trying to hit a moving target.
