Adding media from google photos – file type not supported

  I click on the photo, click the share button, get link, paste into add media from URL and it doesn’t work. I get an error message saying the file type is not supported. What am I doing wrong?

  Please check to see that the image is in any of theses formats: jpeg, jpg, png or gif. Read more about it here:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/accepted-filetypes/

  Can you share the link you are copying from Google Photos?
