Adding Menu Images to Canard Theme
-
Hi,
I feel like this is pretty basic but how do you get a menu item associated with a photo/image so that the home page of the Canard theme consists of a masonry style layout of images that link to the site’s pages (like is shown in the theme’s demo)?
Thanks!

Update- I got the featured images to associate with the posts (I didn’t realize I had to connect the images to posts instead of pages) but now I can’t get the images into a grid. Any ideas?

Hi @cincinnatishuls, it appears like you now have your posts displaying in the grid on your front page in Canard. Nice job. If you have additional questions or problems, please let us know.

Hi sorry but I didn’t managed that! Like you i want to have image menu like in the demo.
Any help? -
vbdesign- try the Fukasawa theme- it was really easy to set up. We used the side bar widget to display “recent posts”and because each post has a “featured image” it added an image to the side bar menu.

vbdsign – if you still need help, could you please start a new thread and provide a link to the site with which you need help? I only see Sketch running on vbdsign.wordpress.com at the moment. You can go here to start a new thread in the themes forum:
