Adding menu in Twenty Ten
-
I’ve watched the video and read the description but when I try to add a menu to Twenty Ten it does not show up in the pages widget on my dashboard. I tried searching for it and it just doesn’t show after I’ve named it and saved it.
Seems like a very basic thing to do so I’m not sure, having searched the forums and support a fair bit, what the issue is.
Any help appreciated.

Hello
Will both of you please try this:
Go to the “theme location” module at upper left on the menu page. Select your custom menu name from the pulldown labeled “primary location.” Click the save button in that module.Go to your blog, refresh your browser so that it isn’t possibly pulling a cached page, and see your new menu.

You username link is linked to a blog you deleted. Please replace that link with the URL for the blog to which you are referring so we can locate the blog. Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog starting and then save changes. -
Thanks timethief but it didn’t work.
I did update my blog URL though as you suggested. It’s now associated with:

Perhaps we can figure out what went wrong. Can you explain what you did and what happened?

I tried to add a sub-menu called “BCPL” to the current menu list. Something I haven’t done before so I just have “Home” and “About” as menus.
I followed the instructions in the support video for adding menus (which even uses Twenty Ten as the example) but it just won’t appear.
It doesn’t appear as an option when I search for it in the “pages” widget on the left either.
