Adding menu items on homepage?

  Trying to add menu items on the homepage. Found WordPress instructions but the interface looks nothing like mine. There is no ‘Appearance’ button anywhere to be found please advise

  Hi,

  The “Appearance” menu is found in the WP-Admin dashboard. You don’t need to locate that menu unless you’re using that dashboard instead of the My Site interface. See the Custom Menus support page regarding how to add a custom menu if you don’t presently have one, and its Add Menu Items section for relevant instructions and GIF illustration on adding menu items.
