Adding menus
-
I am trying to add menus to make my blog posts accessible by category. Curently they are categorised, but there is no way for readers to find them and they are simply listen on the home page. I have followed the procedure for adding menus, but I never get the option to add categories to them, and I cannot even see the menus I have tried to create in my header. The process is very confusing, and I am going round in circles. Please help.

Hi there
Here’s the WordPress guide on how to categorize your posts.
Even if you did the job with some of them. I’ll start from the beginning checking every step of the list.
Since your theme supports site editing, these two steps should be enough:
1. https://wordpress.com/support/menus/add-categories-to-a-menu/#categorize-your-posts
2. https://wordpress.com/support/menus/add-categories-to-a-menu/#add-a-category-to-your-menu-in-the-site-editorLet us know if this works!

Hello, thanks for this. But it just leads to the same problem. I click on the navigation box, select the menu (which is there as an option in Editor, but never shows on the actual site), but after I’ve selected it nothing happens. So, I can’t add anything to that menu.
