Adding Milestone to my homepage

  I’d like to add the Milestone widget onto my homepage’s sidebar. However, I’m not sure what they mean when they wrote for the visibility section, e.g. ‘show’ if ‘author’ is ‘xx’. I don’t see it appearing anywhere on my sidebar.
