Adding More Menus to Bon Vivante Theme
-
I would really like to have several custom menus at the top of my page but see that the theme I bought, Bon Vivant theme does not support more. IS this a feature I can purchase? I love this theme and would like to keep it – but wondering how i might do this. Would it be a plugin? Any help would be great. Thanks.

Hi Gabrielle,
Bon Vivant actually includes two different custom menus! It’s not possible to add additional menus after that, but note that “menu” refers to the entire set of menu tabs, not to each tab. You can add as many tabs to your menu as you like, and nest them under each other for submenus, etc. We have a full guide here:
Custom MenusDoes that help? Let me know if you have further questions!

Thanks — it does help – I guess I should have done my homework with themes before I paid for this one. It seems I can only have one menu at the top and then one menu at the bottom, correct?
The other issue I’m having is creating a page and wanting it to show up at the top – so on my blog it would appear next to ‘About’ – but when I add that page – it doesn’t show up at the top. Aren’t I allowed to have a few ‘pages’ on the top?
At first I thought maybe it had to be a menu – but I can only have one menu on there.
I know I could put the page ‘find me’ in ‘about’ as a parent, etc. – but I’d rather have it next to it. Or at least understand what I’m doing wrong. :)
Thanks so much for replying so quickly.

Hi Gabrielle – You can do that, you just have to add the new page to your Custom Menu here:
https://allkindsoflovelies.wordpress.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.phpI added it for you so you can see how this looks. Does that make more sense? The “menu” is the entire thing at the top, all the pages going across. “About” and “Find Me” are now two different menu tabs in your Primary Menu.
