Adding multiple authors while importing

    Dear Happiness Engineers,

    I need to import my content from my .org into my wordpress.com. There are multiple authors, and I need to make sure everyone is credited for their copywriting.

    Hi there,

    There are multiple authors, and I need to make sure everyone is credited for their copywriting.

    No problem. When you import your content to your WordPress.com site, there is a dialog box that will ask you if you want to assign the content to yourself (as the author) or assign it to existing users on your site.

    For this to work as it should, you will first want to make sure that the users on your .org site are also users on your WordPress.com site.

    Here is more info on how to invite users to your WordPress.com site. Do this first, then import your content, and assign the posts from the authors on your .org site to the ones that are now on your site here.
