Adding multiple domains to my site

    Hi,
    I have three domains that I want to add to my wordpress site, how much will this cost?
    What is the difference between managing my domain and site separately and together in terms of cost, i.e. what would wordpress’s costs be for each of these scenarios?

    Hi there,

    To connect a domain to a WordPress.com site requires any of our paid plans, and the plan will allow you to either connect or transfer that domain to us.

    Then there will be a per-domain cost for each additional domain you link to the site beyond that – $13 per domain per year if you leave them registered at the current provider and just map them here, or a full year’s registration cost to completely transfer the domain registration to us.

    If you manage them separately, i.e. leave the domain registered at the current provider and just connect it here, you’ll need to pay the full annual renewal fee to the current registrar to renew the domain each year, and a $13 mapping fee to connect the domain here each year.

    To transferring the registration here completely might be more cost-effective in the long run.
