Adding multiple galleries to your blog…

Hey everyone…
I’m pretty confused here…. So in the blog section of my site I added six pictures in gallery format to a post. On a new post I want to add different pictures but still in gallery format. The option under adding images for gallery has disappeared and even if i remove the <gallery> reference from the original blog post containing the gallery, the option is still missing under any other post. Why is this? Am i limited to one gallery? That’s kind of stupid if I am. Is there another way to list a group of pictures without having to post the code for each one. I have about fifty pictures I want to add… Thanks in advanced!

I’d like to know the answer to that same question assuming that I have a wordpress.com blog. I’d really like to post separate galleries on separate pages.

Assuming I understand the question correctly: the Gallery tab shows up only after you have clicked the “Add an Image” button, clicked “Select Files”, and uploaded a group of images to a particular post or page.

I’m having a similar problem. I added the gallery to the page after two of the pictures and it wont let me add them into the gallery. I’m not really sure how I got it(the gallery) up there in the first place really, plus in the future I would like to add more pages with different galleries. http://www.roostersmiles.wordpress.com .

I added them before the gallery, tried deleting them and adding them again so they would become part of it and it still isnt working. (if you notice the images on http://roostersmiles.wordpress.com/photo-gallery/andrew-hayden-park-may-4th-2009/,) the images below by the text do not appear in the gallery, as I would like them to.

I think I got it, I have to completly delete the photos from My Media and then upload them again while on the page. Hopefully this works. Anyone know of a way around this?
