Adding multiple portfolio pages – my menu doesn't seem to allow this

  Hi, I’m aware other people have posted about this before but I’m really struggling to find the answers I need.

  Basically, I want to use my WordPress site as a portfolio for my writing work, and so would like my menu to have links to separate portfolio pages categorised by subject (i.e. ‘Fashion’, ‘Culture’ ‘TV and film’ etc.).

  I found this conversation from a few months ago re. someone having a similar problem (https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/can-i-have-multiple-portfolio-pages-on-my-blog?replies=12).

  However, the screenshot that was posted in this conversation (https://cloudup.com/cYcSBlBVeaG) showing how the menu options should look does not match how my menu options look. The screenshot shows options to add pages, projects, links etc. and project types. But on my page, the only options that show up on the left hand side are pages and links, so I can’t organise my menu by project types.

  So, at the moment, all my portfolio projects are appearing on just one page, when I would like them to be spread across the multiple menu pages accordingly.

  Any help on this would be much appreciated!

  Ignore me, I’m an idiot! Just figured out I hadn’t set the screen options properly!
