Adding my own CSS and Javascript
-
I have the free WordPress site (xxxxxx.wordpress.com). Can I add my own CSS and Javascript to my blog pages? I tried to add a code snippet that contains <script> tags, but after I save the page, the <script> tag is stripped out, which tells me that I may not be allowed to add my own Javascript. If I am allowed to do it, can someone point me to some how-to info ?

We cannot post JavaScript code for security reasons on WordPress.COM blogs. The software here strips the code out.

WordPress.org offers free software that you can install on a web server. You can upload and install themes and plugins, run ads, conduct ecommerce, post JavaScript, iframes and Flash codes and edit the database. Learn about the differences here.
