Adding my own domain

  i have just signed up and i own my own domain which i got from GoDaddy but how do i add it to a site i am trying to create? when creating a site i type in my domain and it says taken but doesnt give me the option to add one..

  Hi @aaronsl1, you’re welcome to create a site here:
  https://wordpress.com/start

  It will say the domain is taken already if you bought it at GoDaddy just barely, but you can map it for now:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  Then you can transfer later if you’d like:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/prepare-domain-for-transfer/
