adding mybloglog widget
-
I’m new here, so hopefully it’s okay to ask this question. I’m trying to add the MyBlogLog widget. It’s activated and I can put it in my right sidebar, but it doesn’t work. When I click the icon on the right of the widget box it says:
MyBlogLog is how you get to know who reads your blog and why. Just install this widget. You’ll get both a public photo lineup of who’s been reading your blog recently and a private reporting page of what your readers read and clicked on.
To make it work, you must go and get one of MyBlogLog widget codes and then paste it below.
But when I paste the code in there’s no way of saving it. It just disappears. I would appreciate any help I can get. As I said, I’m completely new at getting help here.

Hi.
As far as i know there are different widgets and the one you want is located here:
1) Go to the MyBlogLog Main page.
2) Go to your MyBlogLog site for your blog.
3) Next to your blogs image at the top select the widgets option.
4) Copy and paste the entire text in the box.
5) Go to your dashboard > Presentation > Widgets.
6) Drag a text widget from the bottom box to the sidebar.
7) Paste the entire text from step 4.
8) Save changes, the icon for that is displayed on the white part in the Dashboard to the very right.
9) The widget should now be displayed in your sidebar.Hope that helps. :)

Please provide a link to your blog so we can see what’s happening. Note also that since we can’t use javascript here at WP.com, you need to use the HTML version of the widget, not the javascript one. They explain the difference on the site and give you the option of several versions.
