Adding new admin

    I have an exiting Editor whom I wanted to make an admin. After doing so, she changed her eail, which is reflected on my all users list, but she cannot reach the Dashboard

    Hi there,

    Can you please confirm for which site this is? I can see two recent invitations for admins on http://armoryoftherevolution.wordpress.com/, but I don’t see any evidence of an Editor’s user role being changed to Admin. Also, what is the WordPress.com username of the person you’re trying to add, and what is the email address where you sent the invitation?

    Does this person appear as an admin under My Site ->People? If not, it means she hasn’t accepted the invitation yet, and need to do so before she’ll have access to the dashboard.

    If her username is listed there, is she able to log into her WordPress.com account? If she’s able to log in, she should be able to access the dashboard.

    I’m also unclear what you mean by she changed her email. Did she change the email on her WordPress.com account? Or did you just send the invitation to a new email address she’s using? She’ll need to be logged into a WordPress.com account connected to the email address you sent the invitation to, in order to accept it.
