adding new category to multiple posts

  I’ve decided to add a category that will apply to perhaps 20 or 30 existing posts. Is there a way to add the new category all at once to these posts?

  In case it matters, I use an offline editor, Marsedit, because when I started with WordPress the online editor did not work well with Safari.

  You cannot using MarsEdit for that. You would have to do it one at a time. You can use the bulk edit function in the dashboard at posts > edit.

  Thank you. I had never opened up the bulk edit feature before. It was easy to do what I needed to do.
