Adding New Domain to Blog

  I recently purchased a new domain (CrossfitorDie.Com) and when I tried to add it to my blog, I received the following error message:

  This domain has already been mapped to a WordPress.com blog.

  I discovered that if you type in CrossfitorDie.com it takes you to a previous wordpress site but as the previous owner did not renew the URL it no longer works.

  MY QUESTION: How can I map this newly purchased URL to my blog?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You need staff to unmap it from the old blog. I will flag this for staff attention and they will be able to help you.

  I have removed the old mapping, you should now be able to purchase the Domain Mapping Upgrade to use this domain with your blog. Please let me know if you run into any more problems.
