Adding New Posts

I’m trying to add a new post, but when I press the publish button, this message shows up in red at the top:
“An error occurred while saving the post.
User cannot edit posts”I am the only one ever adding posts to this blog (which I’ve had for years). I really don’t understand what’s going on…

That’s strange. Please do log out, clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies and then log back in and try to post to your blog.
If you still have issues please try to post using a different browser from http://browsehappy.com then post here again please and tell us which browser and version of it you are using. http://supportdetails.com

Thanks so much for your help. I will take note of these links. I’ve gotten it fixed now after updating the adobe flash player. I had no idea it could cause me so much confusion. Sorry & thank you again.
