adding new posts to old pages/tabs

I think I’m missing a very basic concept here. My goal is to have two or three pages with different subjects, to which I post different posts. (E.g. click on my Caregiving tab and a page with all my caregiving notes and comments will come up; click on the Home tab and the Home page with different posts will come up.) I don’t want all my posts jumbled up on the Home page, which is what’s happened. Now I’m trying to separate the posts (i.e., copy and paste the caregiving posts to the Caregiving page), but I can’t seem to figure out how to do it quickly and easily. How do I add new posts to the current Caregiving page? Or should I create a new Care page and copy and paste to it, then delete the original Care page?

If I haven’t explained this well, think of it this way: I want separate pages fro Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, to which I can add recipes. I don’t want all the recipes to end up on the Home page; I want breakfast recipes on the Breakfast page, lunch recipes on the Lunch page, and so on.

    Thanks for any help.
