Adding new tag on particular entry causes deleted tag to show up again

  Hello,

  I’m sorry if this problem has been discussed already and I just didn’t find the topic, but I’ve got a problem with a particular entry, respectively a particular tag.
  My blog is http://nubriema.wordpress.com

  I found out that this one entry, “Neid und Phantasie” was tagged under “reading and writing”, and as far as I can remember, I didn’t choose that tag. Now, there is a category named “reading and writing”, which was previously just “writing” until I renamed it.
  Also, there is another entry, “Mondnacht und NaNoWriMo”, also categorized under “reading and writing” which showed the same tag – I waited for “reading and writing” to disappear out of the tag cloud after I deleted the tag from “Neid und Phantasie”, but it didn’t. And so I clicked it and instead of this post, “Mondnacht und NaNoWriMo” appeared and had the tag on it – of course, I deleted it immediately.
  Now, I tried numerous times to add the tag “writing” to the entry, but every time I saved it, the tag changed into “reading and writing”.

  Long story short: Both entries are categorized under “reading and writing” which was previously “writing” – could this be the cause for this tag, “writing”, to change into “reading and writing”, because the system automatically recognizes this tag as the category and therefore changes it or something like that?
  I know it’s just a little particular error, but it really bothers me and I’d be glad if someone could help me or at least tell me what’s going on.

  Hey, thank you, timethief – it really sounds similar to my problem; I’ll keep watching this thread. Anyway, the tag still changes back, but I think I’ll wait a bit until I contact support, maybe they’re fixing it just now… Well, again, thank you! :)

  Additional Note:

  I just made a new entry trying to tag it under “writing” – so the problem seems to concern all entries with this tag…
