Adding New Themes to Subdomains

  Hi All –

  I’m aware that on a WordPress.com-hosted WordPress site, there is no “Add New Themes” link under Appearance. I’m also aware that on a self-hosted WordPress site, there is an “Add New Themes” link under Appearance.

  I’m using a website template which requires my domain host to point it’s nameservers to photobiz.com so I set up a CNAME for my blog site which is now set up as a subdomain. This required that I purchased and registered the domain through wordpress however I’m still unable to add new themes!!!!

  Help!

  So you got a domain through WordPress.com. And you’re hosted externally. That means you’re in the wrong forum and need to be at WordPress.ORG instead, whether your bought the domain here or not.
