Adding New Themes using the Administration Panel

  My wordpress dashboard won’t let me add new themes in the appearance panel. Any idea why? Do I need to download a new version?

  We cannot add themes at wordpress.COM. We are limited to the 150+ (and growing) themes found in the dashboard under appearance > themes. Themes found on the internet are for self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG.
