Adding New Users

First, I have carefully read the support page and several forum posts regarding the addition of new users. However, like some others, I’m not getting it. My goal is to add a new contributing author. I have tested the system several times using different email addresses that I own. Every time I “invite” a new users, they (me in this case) receive an encrypted link that takes them to a form to create a NEW BLOG. Others here have stated it’s an option, but I don’t see any options. QUESTION: Is it possible that the system knows it’s still me even though I’m using an unused email address … therefore I’m never able to see the actual form presented to the new applicant?

It would probably be a cookie – you would need to use another browser to try but be sure to clear it’s cookies first.

Mark, your suggestion worked and I was able to confirm that the system does in fact remember you as an existing member and presents a DIFFERENT, blog only creation form when you test the system by trying to invite yourself with a different email address. I believe that is why some of us on the forum, who like to test everything first, have had problems understanding the “Invitation” scheme. The solution was to copy the invitation link presented in the invitation email and paste it into a second browser.
