Adding new users

  I have a WordPress blog that I installed and can add users to. I’m also helping to run a wordpress blog that’s hosted on the wordpress.com site, but I only seem to have the option to invite users. Is there a way to manually create a user? Or is that capability missing from hosted sites?

  Yes, on WordPress.com you can’t make site-specific users on your own. Somebody will have to register to WordPress.com and only then you can add her username to your site.
