Adding own banner to a wordpress page
-
Hello. I’m currently working on updating a website that has a banner with logo, search bar and tabs. Is it possible to insert our pre-made banner into a wordpress design rather than having to go with a themed banner suggested by wordpress?

This free hosted wordpress.com blog http://grow2011.wordpress.com/ is devoid of any blogger created content. Are you referring to a WordPress>ORG install? What is the URL of the blog in question please?

I haven’t yet created the site! It’s not the grow2011. I ask because the banner and associated tabs is copyrighted and I am required to use them if I want to create a blog. Thanks!

Allow me to be crystal clear with you. We provide assistance and support only for free hosted WordPress.com blogs. Many people use the word “wordpress” in vague ways that are not at all helpful. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate. Read this comparison http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Note that unless or until we know if you are referring to a free hosted WordPress.COM blog or a WordPress.ORG install we cannot provide and accurate answer because the answers to the same questions are different depending on the software being used. -

That’s what I thought. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate sites with different username accounts and logins. You are posting to the wrong support forum. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
