Adding page for a disclaimer

  Do I need to add a new page to add a disclaimer on a word press site?

  It depends on where/how you want your disclaimer to show. If you want a separate page that a user can click on you would need to add a page and link to it. You can do this by adding another menu option (next to About Us) or adding a link somewhere, maybe the bottom of each post or in a text widget.

  Another possibility is to add a text widget that contains your disclaimer.

  Where is the widget icon? I do not see it on the dashboard.

  In your WP-Admin dashboard (https://jfedsrq.wordpress.com/wp-admin/), click Widgets under Appearance (here is the support doc for widgets: https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/) Scroll through the list of widgets until you see one called “Text”. Click on it and click Add Widget. You can then configure your Text Widget, make sure you save your changes!
