Adding page to sidebar but not seen in pages section

  I was wondering is there anyway to put a page in the side bar, but have it not show up with my other pages. For example, I wanted to make more room for more interesting pages on the top of my page, and then I wanted to have an “About this Site” page that did not show up with the other pages, but instead on the side bar. Does anyone know how to do this?

  Create custom menus. One of them assign to the primary navigation and include the pages you want to show at the top. Create a second one and use the custom menu widget in the sidebar with the pages you want linked there.
