Adding Pages
-
I have multiple pags for this blog and I only see one. How do I get the others to show up as tabs or something along the top of the page.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If this is the blog you mean it’s an empty one http://jlhbusinesssolutions.wordpress.com/
Instructions for adding static Pages are found here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ and on themes where there are no tabs or display of Pages and sub-pages in the horizontal menu placing the Pages widget in the sidebar will provide access to them > http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/pages-widget/ -
http://davidstrege.com I have one page on the right in the widgets. When I attempt to drag another page to add to the right column, it duplicates the first page I have listed. Can you have more than two “pages” widgets? If so, how does one do that? PLease help. thank you…

Yes, you can have as many pages widgets as you want but they will all display the same Pages.
-
Then, essentially, you can only have one page. What’s the point if they’re all going to be the same? How can I make the second page widget different? Apparently, I can’t, if I’m understanding this correctly. Is this correct? Thanks for your reply.

I don’t understand why you think you can have only one Page. Look at the Pages widget in this blog: http://raincoastermedia.com and compare it to the tabbed header: you can have lots of pages.
Pages and Posts are different things: perhaps you are getting them confused?
It’s a typical beginner mistake to make a lot of Pages, thinking they are Posts. And it is best caught sooner rather than later, because the only way to fix it is one at a time, by hand.

You mean you need the Pages widget twice, with two different widget titles, and some of your pages (plural) displayed under the one, the rest under the other. You can do that by getting the ID numbers of your pages, then typing the appropriate ones into the Exclude box of the one widget and the rest into the Exclude box of the other widget.
To get the page ID numbers, go to Pages>Edit, hover over each page title, look at the end of the permalink in the progress/status bar of your browser.

Yes, thank you panaghiotisadam…That’s exactly my case. However, when I attempted to find the ID numbers, I couldn’t find them…. I go to edit pages, there is the list of titles that are on my page…i scroll over each title and….nothing. Do I have to call up each title and then look at the url? If so, the ID doesn’t appear to be clear. If you have any suggestions, I’d appreciate greatly…Thank you.

You’re welcome. If you cannot see the page IDs the way I mentioned, then you probably haven’t activated the progress/status bar of your browser. If you cannot do that, you can go to Pages>Edit, click on the title of each page, and look at the address bar of the browser when the editor screen shows up. The URLs will be like that:
