Adding pages
-
Is anyone having an issue with adding a new page to their blog. I have tried numerous times with no success. It simply creates a new page, but does not show in the blog as a page. In other words, if you add a page called ‘About’ it does not show in the main blog page. Is this supposed to happen? Can someone help me please before I lose it!!!!
thanks
RubyTess
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Some themes have a top menu and some don’t – see here:

Themes with a top menu will automatically display tabs for your published static pages. In themes without a top menu you need to add the Pages widget in Appearance > Widgets. -
Thanks justpi.
I have tried one of the themes you gave me the link to. Still doesn’t work. I’m ready to give up. I’m not an inexperienced computer user. I can’t understand what I’m doing wrong. I selected a theme that supposedly has tabs, but when I activate it as my theme, the tabs are not there.
Any ideas?RubyTess

Are you creating PAGES or POSTS? I don’t see either at http://rubytess.wordpress.com/.

Dear Raincoaster. Thank you for your assistance. I can’t figure out what the problem is. This site is very confusing as to how things are set up. I won’t be continuing. I think WordPress needs to simplify things a bit. I have set up a blog at another blog site and had no trouble at all. I am quite disappointed as WordPress has the option of changing the html code.
Anyway, thanks again for your kind assistance.
