adding pages before choosing a template design

  Hi,

  I currently have a website hosted on wix.com. I want to transfer all my webpages over to a WordPress site. It’s 256 webpages at the moment.

  And I’ll be using one of the WordPress template designs.

  My question is if I paste the text into WordPress pages without choosing the WordPress template I’ll be using, will the pages automatically be assimilated into the WordPress template pages once I choose it or would I have to copy/paste them again into the new template pages? Does that make sense?

  I only want to copy/paste the content ONCE, so I want to do this in the right order.

  Hi Matt, everything but the home page will survive regardless of what template you choose, so feel free to paste away.

  And even if you do edit the home page then change the theme later, the old edits will be in your drafts so you can reuse them as you like.
