Adding Pages to existing theme

    Hello, I am new to blogging and love the wordpress.com format. However, I would like to add several pages to my blog and it appears that this free service has that capability. Yet, I cannot find out to create a new page on the theme which I am using. It is a 3 column format which I am customizing now. If anyone has knowledge of how this can be don through the dashboard, I would really appreciate your help…..Thanks!

    Go to write in your dashboard. Instead of selecting post, select page. That is it. I have several pages myself, but I understand they are not as search engine friendly as the main page, so beware of what you put there.

    just to add to what mcneri has said, when you create the new page (click write a new page in the dashboard) your new page will appear right at the top of your blog in the theme you are using now, right next to “home” and “about”.
