Adding pages to homepage

  I know this is a dumb question – but my About page does not appear on my homepage as a link. What am I doing wrong?

  It’s not a dumb question. You should be able to add your About page to your menu by following these steps:

  * Go to My Sites
  * Go to Customize Theme
  * Go to Menus
  * Go to Primary Menu
  * Click on +Add Items
  A list should come up showing you pages you can add. About should be one of those pages. Add it to your menu and it will show up on your homepage.

  @loqueserasarah,

  The Revelar theme doesn’t display a default pages menu. Therefore in order to display a menu in the primary menu area (header), you’ll have to assign a custom menu to that location. If you don’t have an existent custom menu, then creating one will be the first step to take. See the Custom Menus support page. The instructions provided by @lastfarthing are fine if you already have an existent custom menu.

  You might also consider adding a Pages Widget to one of the footer widget areas. This would provide a link to your “About” page on the front page, though less conspicuously than a link in the header menu.
