Adding pages to my site
-
Hello! I’m totally new at this and I have set my whole page up and love it….but now I just realized that I can’t figure out to add other pages to my blog – is it because of the theme I have chosen (I’m using ChaoticSoul)? When I go into dashboard and create a new ‘page’ it never shows up on my original site….Do not all themes allow for separate pages? Thanks for the help, my blog is http://lindsaynm.wordpress.com/
Thanks for any help! Have a great day!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The theme you are using does not provide page tabs in a horizontal menu across the top of the theme. Access to to he static Pages you create for content that rarely, if ever, changes is gained by placing the Pages widget in your sidebar.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/pages-widget/Once you put the Pages widget in the sidebar, all the pre-loaded default widgets will disappear. So you just drag the ones you want out of the “Available Widgets” box and drop them into the “Sidebar(s)” box .
Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets
After you have dropped a widget in the “Sidebar” box click it on the top right hand corner and it will open. In some widgets you will find various configuration options that you can activate. Click “Save” and then “Close” and so on, until you have all the widgets of your choice placed where you want them.

There is a world of difference between static Pages that sit outside the blog structure and Posts. It’s really important to grasp that right away because blogs have a Post based structure, and there is only one page (aside from the Archives & Categories) that your posts will display on in reverse chronological order with the most recent Post on top. That’s usually the front Page of the blog but it can be changed. See > http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/
