Trying to add paypal button wordpress site. It only gives me html code, not email.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The only secure payment system is for those who hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting and move their content into a WordPress.ORG install. Move To a Self-Hosted WordPress Site https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-to-a-self-hosted-wordpress-site/
All support docs are at http://support.wordpress.com
https://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/re: PayPal
Know that the only instructions that will work for posting a PayPal donation button on a WordPress.com blog are found here http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/
Note that the PayPal email link is not supported and PayPal customization options are not supported either

Thank you for responding to my question. My site is not on wp.com but rather is a paid theme, designed originally by a web designer at my own url. I have gotten the email link but that didn’t work. When I put it in the page, it just shows that link. The link takes you to my paypal, which is certainly not where I want it! Any other suggestions? they’ll be appreciated.

Then you are posting to the wrong support forum.
We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
(1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
(2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.me/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin. Note that Jetpack is a plugin used by WordPress.ORG bloggers to achieve parity with what we already have built into WordPress.COM blogs. A wordpress.COM account is required to run the Jetpack plugin, but we do not provide Jetpack support on these wordpress.COM support forums. Please direct Jetpack issues to where they can get Jetpack support.
re: Jetpack support
Some Jetpack solutions are here http://jetpack.me/support/Others are in the Jetpack support forum at WordPress.org
http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpackHowever, if help cannot be found at either one then they can file a Jetpack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page

P.S. For the sake of clarity, https://karenfriedland.wordpress.com/ is hosted by wordpress.COM and is using the free Twenty Ten theme. We do provide support for that site.

Thank you for all this. My blog is hosted on wordpress.com but my website is on my url. I finally mastered the paypal problem. Thanx again for the help.
