Adding Paypal button (yes, I already followed your tutorial)

Hello. How do I add a paypal button to my pages, I’d like to do so for each item. Specifically:

    1. I followed your tutorial: http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/
BUT, in real life (or my real life) I did NOT see the “email” code button that you show in step #6. it just gives the website code. I’d be glad to provide screenshots if there’s a way i can attach that.

    2. once I do get the code, then do I paste it into the body or caption or description? thanks

  • To add a PayPal button for a product, first click the Buy Now button option on your PayPal Merchant services page, as in this screenshot:

On the next page, fill in the requested information, such as item name, price, etc.

Do not check off any of the customization options, like drop-down menus or text fields. If you check any of those off, then you won’t get the email option in the next step.

On the next page, click the Email tab as you see in this screenshot:

If you accidentally ticked off any of the customization checkboxes in the previous step, the Email tab will not be there, so you’ll need to modify your button and try again.

On the email tab, you’ll see something like this:

The link you’ll see there can now be used anywhere in a post or page, by adding it as a link on any text you put into the editor, like “Buy now” or “Buy my book.” You can also add the link to an image, such as a graphic of a button. You can create button images in a graphics program, grab one of the ones PayPal provides, or use one of the many free online button generators.

If you run into any trouble or have any other questions, just let me know.
