  HOW DO I ftp a file to my site or modify my code through the blog administration??? I’m trying to add PPP to my site.

  And we cannot modify the underlying code. It’s a multi-user platform and you would be modifying everyone else’s as well

  I’m new to all of this so this whole PPP and CODE thing is kinda gibberish. The PPP site used wordpress blog as an example, so I assumed that it would work. Thanks for the info.

  They are talking about a self-hosted blog using the software downloaded from wordpress.org. This is different software here on this wordpress.com free hosting service.

  If you want, or must have advertising or PPP, then hire a web host, buy a domain name, and download and install the wordpress software from wordpress.org. It isn’t that expensive, but you will be responsible for all troubleshooting, all upgrades, and all maintenance.

  {unsolicited opinion} One thing to remember, is that unless you get tens of thousands of hits per day, the most you are going to get in a month is perhaps a fast food lunch or two out of the advertising. Don’t expect to get wealthy.
