Adding photo to slideshow area of Forever Theme

  Hi,

  I’m new to WordPress. I activated the Forever theme, and would like to replace the image that is shown as part of a slideshow feature on it’s home page in the preview of the theme. I thought that when I activated the theme and went into Appearance, there would be an option do that. However, there doesn’t seem to be. Is that something that you can only do if you buy customization or am I missing something?

  There is no slideshow. There is a featured post slider. Here’s the link to theme description page http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/forever/ scroll down to ” A Dramatic Personalized Home Page”. The slider will display featured image posts. You will be marking selected posts as stickies and set a featured image of the required dimensions in each one.

  Thanks a lot. I was able to make the image I want a featured image but it’s not going the full width that it does on the preview of the theme, and it should considering it’s a very large image. Is there an additional step to make it go the full width?
