Adding Photos to posts

  When I add a featured image to a post it is not showing up on the blog in the right size, only half of it shows up. I am trying to get it to show up when someone clicks on my blog, not only when they click on the post.

  Hi there,

  I think I understand what you’re saying. The Oxygen theme has a lot of great documentation about how to get it working the way you want it to here: http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/oxygen/

  But specifically regarding the featured images, this documentation has this to say:

  Featured Images

  To get the most of this theme, setting Featured Images is important. Featured Images appear in the featured slider in the Showcase Page template, or as a post thumbnail in your list of Recent Articles. Post thumbnails are 470 pixels wide, unless you make the post Sticky to show off in the featured slider, in which case they’re 750 pixels wide.

  So it may very well be that the images which you are uploading are not fitting well within the sizes that oxygen sets out.
