Adding photos to posts

  I’m trying to add pictures from iPhotos to my post and am unable to get them to the media ‘holder’ in the page. I have a MacBook Pro.

  For accepted file types for uploading see here http://en.support.wordpress.com/accepted-filetypes/

  Are you running a browser and version of it found at http://browsehappy.com? If not, upgrade.

  Have you tried dragging an image straight from your desktop or computer’s image folder and drop it directly into your post’s editor?

  If you prefer you can click on the Add Media button from the toolbar of your editor to upload an image to your post.

  Go to http://nomadwomansworld.wordpress.com/wp-admin/upload.php and see if you have exhausted your free media storage space allocation.

  If you upload lots of images you can exhaust that free space allocation quickly. Currently, the only way to get an extra space allocation after you upload the images again, is to purchase an upgrade bundle. https://en.support.wordpress.com/space-upgrade/

  If you still have space then type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up.   Thank you very much for all your suggestions. I’ve tried them, but still have trouble. It’s how the pictures are saved on the laptop that’s the problem. They’re all jpeg but they don’t show up in my Pictures folder. I’m going to work with that some more. I’ve done the drag-and-drop before but for some reason it’s not working at the moment. Ahhhhh…….!!!!!

  Please provide this specific info:
  (a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
  (b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://supportdetails.com/
  (c) Exactly what you experience including exactly what any error reports you receive state.
